Hoshangabad : National Nutrition Campaign is conducted in Hoshangabad district from 1 September to 30 September. In this context, the meeting for reviewing the developmental level convergence action plan for interdepartmental coordination under the National Nutrition Campaign was held in the district hall on the last day under the chairmanship of Sub-Divisional Officer Revenue Ravish Srivastava. Officers, employees of various departments of development block Babai, Hoshangabad and urban area attended the meeting. In the meeting, after the action plan and implementation of all the activities to be done under the nutrition campaign of all the departments, the login ID and password for online feeding were communicated to various heads of offices. Project Officer Women and Child Development Babai and Hoshangabad Rural and Urban Pramod Gaur informed about the activities to be done under the nutrition campaign.
On behalf of CHAI institution, Ms. Monica Kaushal and Swasth Bharat Motivator Kunal Chaturvedi gave a presentation on nutrition campaign. To conduct nutrition awareness activities through Nukkad Natak for publicity by CEO Janpad Panchayat in collaboration with the officials and NGOs present and prepare attractive dishes for children by adding other local available nutrients to the rural women in nutritional food prepared by THR. He said that with this the children will be able to get the nutrients of THR.
At the meeting, Sub-Divisional Officer Ravish Srivastava instructed that along with conducting the activities of nutrition campaign, departmental regular works which are taken by the Anganwadi workers and assistants at the grassroots level should also be ensured for the smooth implementation so that all the beneficiaries are women and children. Nutritional infrastructure and advice can be given. Besides, various records of Anganwadi should also be maintained.
Cooperation of all the identified departments should be taken in all the activities of the block level. Shri Srivastava said to the officers present in the Health, PHE, Tribal Welfare, Horticulture etc. departments present in the meeting that they should cooperate fully in the National Nutrition Campaign and ensure the implementation of all activities by coordinating with the Women and Child Development Department.
He also said that for the prevention of the problems of malnutrition, anemia, underweight and hysteria in women and children, attention should be paid to them from the beginning of the life cycle of girls and girls and children who are suffering from malnutrition and other health related problems. Ensure the system of treatment and rehabilitation so that every household's nutrition behavior cable does not become a slogan, rather it is really involved in the habit of the people Should be.
In this direction, all departments should coordinate with the Department of Women and Child Development and make every effort in this direction, only then we will be able to achieve the objectives of the National Nutrition Mission within a timeframe.
